During the September 2008 airing of the tabloid show, A Current Affair hypnotherapist, Mark Stephens performed a one-minute hypnosis session to promote his weight-loss program, Think Slim. After the broadcast a complaint was filed with the Australian Communications and Media Authority by a viewer who took exception to the hypnosis.
